Saturn retrograde in Aries

Saturn the planet of divine timing, foundations and they say karma moves retrograde until December and it is not something to worry about! It is like looking over your shoulder at choices you have made or challenges you have had and deciding what needs to be approached from a new understanding or viewpoint. You may shift focus over the coming months as what you are spending time on (Saturn) and trying to achieve in the past could become obsolete! Saturn in Aries is accompanied by Neptune in Aries also retrograde. What dreams did you have that seemed to slip away? What you built as your life now may be under review as you move through the latter half of this year.

The journey of one cycle is finished. Your character is undergoing a makeover as both of these planets in Aries relate to our identity. How you show up in the world and what you want to build as a new way of living in the future can only come from self belief. Taking responsibility for yourself and your part in each choice you have made. It was always yours. And with that comes freedom and Saturn is really the divine one. It is the timing we allow ourselves to take when we listen to our hearts and take action based on personal responsibility. You are the captain of this ship!!

Barbaults basket is still in play and Jupiter in Leo is opposing Pluto in Aquarius (also retrograde) so you see the outer planets are giving us a journey into the deep recesses of the soul. They are enabling a mystery path so we can come back out to a new world we build.

Deep truths will surface for us. But we want this! Power dynamics may play out of course and they also surface in the coming months. Where have you been coerced! Who pulls the strings to your heart? Seeing clearly requires we are honest without judgment but the result is exactly what we are searching for – awareness!!!

The Sun in Leo trining Neptune (retrograde in Aries) is the dreamer whose heart yearns for the dream to come alive. This aspect softens the energy today. Take that journey out into nature and write down your wishes.

We also have the Aquarius full Moon on the 29th July and it will have the Sun Conjunct Jupiter. It is a day to mark in your calendar. Whatever you hold as your dream – as quirky as it gets lol – see it as being expanded in your consciousness and ready to take wings. But also in the days leading up to that full Moon we will be asking ourselves the question ‘who or what am I now.’ It’s the identity crisis we would like to avoid but it’s one that takes honest enquiry and realistic understanding.

Keep it simple but dream big. If it’s a childlike wish that never took flight over the coming months set out on a path that may never have occurred to you as an adult but perhaps was something you dreamed of as a child!
