NEW MOON IN GEMINI – NODES SQUARE URANUS –

A bright new supermoon in Gemini heralds a huge leap of faith as we begin another week. Venus has also moved into Leo over the last days (on the 13th) and there is a line up of planets over the next few days that will be spectacular. Featuring Mercury, Venus and Jupiter gracing the evening skies they should be visible to the naked eye (weather prevailing) low on the western horizon just after sunset with the slender crescent moon joining a cosmic parade! We also have Chiron moving into the sign of Taurus on the 19th of June until September before it retrogrades back into Aries until April 2027 wrapping up an identity healing journey we began eight years ago. This is big! Its journey through Aries was the healing of the I Am consciousness. The collective identity was challenged and in many ways now that Chiron will have a journey in Taurus it means healing within our own physical identity and who we have become. The planet it enters, Taurus, is relating to our value, materially and personally. We may find how we see our value, be it financial or personally is changed in the coming months – especially with Pluto still retrograding in Aquarius. We are being unveiled to ourselves and while it is not entirely comfortable it is something we know will be the revelation of our divine connection to the Christ consciousness. Chiron was discovered in 1977 and it has made its way back to that space in Taurus so wherever you were then you are completing a huge cycle. If you were not born you may look at family/ancestors (and socially) to see a pattern that has been completed or overcome.

For this New Moon in Gemini (and its ruler Mercury currently being in the sign of Cancer of home/family) we are being given a chance to look beyond what we thought of as home, our comfort zone with how we live and where we live – even how we view Earth as home! But also the Gemini Moon can have us delving into the mind and emotions to clear our patterns. We may be looking back nostalgically as we start to move forward – looking over our shoulder and wondering can we really not go back to that way of living? Uranus is also squaring the Nodes of karma and destiny and was exact on the 12th of June, a few days ago, and we may have entered this new Moon today with the feeling of insight and yet uncertainty. Something within us is shifting as the great awakener is the planet Uranus. The North Node is our guiding star of where we are heading and the South Node where we have come from – in this and other lifetimes – so in many ways we are at a huge gateway before we enter this week fully. Emotions and the mind may be stirred especially with Gemini (Mercury) in the mix. The planetary positions are gateways – they are not to be feared or thought of as overcoming them. They come up as a map of our own journey when we look at our Natal Chart. So if you know the positions of the planets through your own birth chart you can look up where Gemini is in regard to this new Moon.

ARIES

Saturn and Aries are in your sign Aries as you know. Mercury is squaring Saturn in your sign and Neptune is sextiling Pluto. Your own ruler Mars is sextiled by Mercury so this Moon may have your mind very acrtive and sparking ideas. The Gemini new Moon may also give you a strong extroverted energy to brainstorm and network, go for it! You are buzzing with this energy and your ruling planet Mars is pushing you towards social connections but the challenge will be to sift through an abundance of ideas you have and to finish what you start. You will also find it much easier to articulate what you want – but as an Arian ensure your directness is balanced with actively listening to avoid friction in close relationships especially. You may find you are having a time of flowing creativity and this is where you should focus as it will bring up something you thought you could never do! Uranus is part of this energy in the new Moon in Gemini and it is sparking you! You feel you can take on the World Aries – you don’t have to! But do follow through on things you have been toying with maybe and you can get further than you ever thought!

TAURUS

This new Moon is shifting your focus Taurus. You are looking at your finances, values and self worth and realising how intrinally they are connected to each other. You have had a light bulb moment perhaps especially with Uranus squaring the nodes of karma and destiny. You realise how you need to value you! This lunation is inviting you to explore more streams of income and adaptability. Communication will be key as this new Moon in Gemini (an air) sign is prompting you to discuss your finances and value. More flexibility is needed in how you view yourself but also how you view money. You may also feel it is time to speak up about something that has been niggling you conrning how you are valued? You want to bring more balance into day to day life. You are a grounded Earth sign but this new Moon in air sign Gemini is calling to you to be lighter in how you approach communication and to allow yourself the flexibility of confiding in those you need to that can help you. You can share your vision for the future with those you trust! On the 19th of June Chiron also enters your sign for three months (before moving there again next year) and you will find the shift is one where you find you can move into new areas of your life and make the day to day routine more to your liking and more comfortable for you.

GEMINI

This is your new Moon Gemini! It is also a supermoon and one where you are considering all of the options of how you move forward on your path. But also your ruler, Mercury, goes into its pre-retrograde shadow a day before the Moon so you may find a slowing down process of how you communicate or how you get your point across. This Moon affects your own sign of self and identity and you may have been working through so much in the days leading up to it. You could feel this Moon is a kind of check point for seeing how far you have come and what turn you want to take next Gemini. But your ruler as I sayis about to go into retrograde on June the 29th moving through the sign of Cancer into Leo. You may avoid the usual things we do when Mercury goes retrograde (signing Contracts etc). But I feel Mercury in shadow and going retrograde allows you to look back over previous decisions and see where you would change things. You may also have second chances to create a new way forward – but in a different way you had plannedut it is not time to rush into anything until nearing the end of July for you Gemini. Perhaps it is time for you to enjoy the Summer and have the rest you so need.

CANCER

The moon is your ruler as you know Cancer, and you may find yourself deeply heady during this new Moon in Gemini. This could even be a transformative New Moon for you Cancer which is wonderful. As your sign makes its way through the 12th house of endings, closure and the subconscious. New moons are new beginnings but for you Cancer it may be a time of introspection and solitude as you work through cycles. The good news is that both Mercury and Jupiter are in your sign. Jupiter is encouraging your hopes and wishes but also keep an eye on your dreams as they may be particularly vivid just now. This new Moon in Gemini is actually making you sparkle . It is in the 11th house so your networking with larger communities and people you come across will enable you to shine. You also have Venus in your sign Leo – from the 13th June to July 8th – and this is going to be an abundance of love for you! This is the big shift we all need also as Venus makes her journey into the heart of Leo. This is a deeply heart felt transition and one where you can allow yourself be seen and be valued Leo. Relationships take on a deeper meaning for you and this new Moon is like a lovely gateway for the moving of Venus into your sign just before it.
