HEARTLANDS
We are going through another big week in astrology as we approach the Lionsgate of the 8.8.2026. Last week the Nodes of destiny/karma changed to Aquarius (North Node) Leo (South Node) and we are navigating the change within us that may have us looking at our own path. With Chiron (representing the Wounded healer) going retrograde this week also we may find we are looking at how we resolve emotional issues within our lives especially those from our past that may come up in our thoughts now. Chiron went retrograde in Taurus where it entered on the 19th June and continues as it works its way back into Aries for the last time to wrap up any identity issues we may finally put to rest.
Venus also enters Libra and this will help us bring harmony to a lot of what we have resisted within ourselves and relationships. It is a chance to bring a lighter awareness to what we saw as something that was written in stone. The immoveable object in your life can be moved but it has to be navigated from within you. Mercury, currently in Cancer is heading into Leo soon and that will join Jupiter to expand all of this astrology that has Saturn, Neptune and Chiron retrograde and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. We are talking about going deeper. Always. To be enlightened we are digging deep. There will be an exact conjunction between Jupiter/Mercury in Leo on the 15th August amplifying our heart centred communication and creative ideas. The shadow side of this will be to over exaggerate or to ignore practical side of things when Mercury and Jupiter conjunct especially in Leo as we can become grandiose. Keeping things grounded but heartfelt is the key. Here are your Astrology Signs leading up to the Eclipse next week. We are in a shadow period and it is in that space we are able to feel more, reach deeper emotions and hopefully resolve so much that was elusive up to now!
ARIES
For You Aries the Lionsgate on the 8/8 brings a focus on your manifestations and self expression. You might be asked to step into the spotlight now with your natural talents without having to force your way in or trying to dominate. The Lionsgate happens in your fifth house of creativity romance, joy and self expression. So anything that brings you joy and passion is what is calling you. Something that stirs your heart and allows you to bring the Aries passion out into the World helps not only you but those around you. Trust where it is bringing you Aries as you do not need to know where it will lead, you just need to know that what you are about to encounter in your creative world is what helps you move out from a passive energy that strangles you into the free flowing exciting creativity that always makes your heart sing! The coming eclipse in Leo on the 12th will also enhance this.
TAURUS
You are at the centre of things Taurus. With the Astrology being so intense over the last while you are ready to re-evaluate your personal values and hopes and dreams. Check if your self worth is matching what your goals are! Be honest with loved ones about your future hopes and aspirations also. You are a fixed sign as you know and you and Aquarius/Leo/Scorpio are being pushed out of a comfort zone. It was ok while it lasted and in some ways it served its purpose as it showed you what you do not want to settle for. But now Taurus, Chiron, the wounded healer, starts its retrograde in your own sign and you are being given the biggest shove to move into a more heartfelt expression of who you are. The Lionsgate in Leo also has Jupiter expanding this energy and it is a time when you can ask for those you have cheered on and supported to give that same gift to you. You are trying to reach that stability in your life and it will only take a few tweaks and adjustments during this retrograde period between now and October/December to see how life can be much more stream lined for you!!! GEMINI
This is a good time for you Gemini. You love the Summer of course but also your ruling planet Mercury, is moving into Leo soon and it will help you expand your communication on a new level. Also the mundane things like networking will be highlighted and positive for you. Even though we have so many retrogrades at the moment (until October/December) you are finding the need to move forward is intense. Take new steps even when walking down old pathways and it may show you that some of the opportunities coming up could be from old connections but have a new flavour and actually draw you in! Be discerning though, as only a Gemini can be, and trust your gut. Communication is your gift, but your ruling planet Mercury moving into Leo expands your creative flair and conjunct the planet Jupiter moves you to make big decisions, if not for now for the coming days weeks and months. You need a break! You have felt the intensity of the last few months especially as you were in the spotlight for most of it! Jupiter moving from your sign in June alleviated some of the intense expansion you were going through but the Moon rules you Cancer and it is playing a role in this oncoming eclipse of course on the 12th. Before that the Lionsgate on the 8/8 allows you to start embracing the praise, love and even financial support you deserve. You are a giver! Now the tables are turning and you realise you also need to balance that with receiving and to allow your good heart to be appreciated. You are going through a process of re-evaluating your self worth and during the shadow period we are going through in this eclipse season you may finally see that what comes to light is the need for emotional baggage to finally be left at the door. To invite peace and harmony into your immediate surroundings as a non-negotiable. You are allowed that. You deserve it and the coming 8/8 Lionsgate and Leo eclipse will compound it even more. LEO
Well Leo you are finally in the spotlight! You are centre stage and it feels – well it feels kind of odd doesn’t it. You have had a time of negotiating and navigating how or where you feel comfortable over the last few months and you are beginning to see what makes you really happy – especially as a Leo the childlike heart needs to be able to bring out that innocent playful side.
