Tonight the Aquarian full Super Moon (also called Sturgeon) is at its fullest and it is the 1st of two full moons this month. The latter being in Leo on the 16th August and what is known as a Blue Moon. We also enter the Lions Gate portal over the next seven days and the combination of the Fire of the Leo Sun and the Air of Aquarius may well be a heady mix.
The Sun and Moon also form a T square with Jupiter in Taurus so all of the elements are being felt. Earth/fire/Air! The one thing that may be missing is water but if you live in Ireland also you will know the element of water has not been missing over the last month!
With Leo (Sun) and Aquarius (Uranus) we have the heart and not so much head as the higher mind being activated. Aquarius gets a wrap for being cool and heady but if anything it is calm and connected through its ruling planet of Uranus to a higher frequency which means if you have this placement you can go off radar from time to time. We also have Sirius/Earth and Orion lining up for what is known as the Lions Gate portal and you may feel the expansion of all of these elements with Jupiter squaring the Sun and Moon in Taurus.
We also have Pluto (retrograde) in Capricorn making a trine to Uranus.
Pluto is purging deeply the old wounds we held up as our story and making a connection with Uranus (ruler of Aquarius) we see this Supermoon is asking us to let go of something that no longer serves us in this age we are moving into. Be it relationships, careers or even habits. The planet Jupiter is joy and higher knowledge and as it forms a T square with the Sun and Moon in Taurus it is asking us to find the balance in us to make the changes we need to and anchor it down in us (Taurus). To make our reality authentic for who we are. It requires that we be entirely honest with ourselves. Is that definition of who you are really serving you anymore? But you might say this is who I am and I am known for it. But what if you are beginning to feel that niggle of doubt as we enter the time of the Lions Gate where our higher mind and our passionate heart is revealed. Trust the process of what is happening and keep surrendering any feelings of uncertainty to the process you are going through. It may be that you are just not there yet in the space of knowing or feeling and this Moon is asking that you take time to seek peace within yourself and have time alone perhaps this month to allow a process of spiritual evolution happen. It is not a case of will it happen but when. You are on track to be in the energy of the new age but it is like anything else we walk forward and take an odd step back from time to time.
Mars in Virgo is also trining Jupiter. So there is a deeply healing fire that is expanding your thoughts and your heart. You want to find out who this person is that you have incarnated as. You want to let go of the shell of who you are and rise like a phoenix from the ashes (Lions Gate). Allow the process. That is all that is required. Keep your feet on the ground but your heart in the air (Aquarius) and let the fire of the Leo Sun shine on you and your innocent child like heart once again. So much has passed in the way of trauma and challenge. You have had to come through so many gateways Beloved. They all were marked ‘home’. You are entering the phase of the journey Home through this Lions Gate and the amazing Supermoon tonight. It will have a lasting affect on you. It cannot but leave a mark.
ARIES: This affects your 11th House.
This is your house of friendships, hopes and wishes. Your Dreams! You may be undergoing a spiritual journey you have decided to set out on once again!! Perhaps life got in the way and you buckled down and just got on with the day to day living. But something in you has awoken to the possibilities of more! Mars your ruler being in Virgo and trining Jupiter under this Moon is asking you to go deeply into your sub-conscious and still your mind. Meditate, listen and trust you are starting a whole new healing path!
TAURUS: This affects your 10th House.
This is your house of career/father figures/image and dealing with people! What have you had enough of Taurus? Is it time to say you have reachd the end of the road with a job, a friendship or an addiction of sorts. You may want to start eating healthy and exercising and look at yourself in a new way. You are deserving of time for you! Your relationship to your own father/mother may come up or you may be looking at yourself as a father or mother figure if you are one and just taking stock of what you would like to change.
GEMINI: This affects your 9th House.
This is your house of philosophy/principles and the bigger picture. Also travel! Well Gemini you may be having a whole new way of thinking at the moment. You have come to a crossroads with how you reason out situations and may want to look at things from a higher perspective. Something in you wants to be able to reason things out and look at things from a higher vantage point. Maybe others around you cannot at the moment but you are the one to take the lead in this! Letting go of old ways of thinking and patterns with relationships/siblings may come up too but you are determined to have your say! Maybe use the calmness of this Aquarius Moon with the passion of the Leo Sun to balance out any conversations that require diplomacy!
CANCER: This affects your 8th House.
This is your house of Secrets ….What little gems have you been keeping! Or has someone let slip something that surprised you! It could be related to money or shared finances as this house represents those in particular. Maybe you feel under pressure to bring home the bacon and with this eighth house you have an all or nothing approach and want to transform something!! Take charge but do not let the heart rule the head. Allow your nurturing heart to be tempered by the Aquarian moon and bring a higher perspective into all things. Of course this can also be other peoples money!! Maybe someone wants to invest in you! Trust the feeling (intuition) that arises within you and remember little secrets will be revealed to put you in the picture of any agendas!!!
LEO: This affects your Seventh House.
The Seventh House relates to partnerships/business and personal. Marriage/legal contracts of any kind. You may be about to review a partnership with work or a contract. You feel you have come to the end of a line with something that may have gone on for the last seven or eight years. If career related you realise you have given all you can and you need something new to light the way and to challenge you. Your heart may not be in it anymore. You must trust the process of letting go and allowing whatever it is you are truly passionate about be part of your future! It is time to shine!
VIRGO: This affects your Sixth House.
The Sixth House relates to work/health/service. You may find yourself looking at where you want to be in regard to your role in work or how you see yourself moving forward. You care deeply about what you do and you question yourself on so many things but no one would ever know as you keep it to yourself!! This Moon has you taking stock of how far you have come and looking at yourself and seeing where you need to start looking after you perhaps with exercise/vitamins/healthy habits! Your long time goals are important so trust you are preparing for your brightest future!
LIBRA: This affects your fifth House.
House of Fun! Sports/Music/ Children/pets.
Libra you always try to balance and with your ruling planet Venus retrograde in Mars you may have been having a hard time finding that! The fire within you is spurring you on though to make changes on a personal level. You want more fun Libra! You were born to have fun! You love deeply and have been hurt because of that but it doesnt make you love any less (Venus). You just smile deeper and keep going.
