JUPITER – THE GREAT BENEFIC

Jupiter is the planet of wisdom, joy, expansion and good fortune. It is the bringer of joy and for the last four months it has been retrograde in the sign of Cancer. This may have brought emphasis to your home life and day to day routine with family. Seeing where you have changed and what needs changing, but the bigger picture is Jupiter retrograde in Cancer allowed us go into a deeper space within us to feel where we felt at home. Now as it stations direct in Gemini it is in a corridor of energy before moving forward and you will feel that shift as a release of old patterns and programmes coming up. Exchanges with people and communication that may have you thinking you need to react in a certain way when we are still in the Mercury retrograde until the 20th of March. Before then we have the new moon in Pisces and as we prepare for the Spring Equinox on the 21st March and the Sun entering Aries, we are feeling the letting go of what has been holding us back. It may not take effect yet but there is a release of thoughts as we begin to push through into a new way of moving forward in these times. The old way will not help us. The being right is not an option. Being right means you fight your corner with others who want to prove themselves right also! But to enter this phase of 2026 we have to prepare to Master our communicating skills with others and how we act and react and Jupiter is helping us leave behind an outmoded way we may have learned in childhood.

Jupiter enters Gemini today, the 11th March 2026. It expands intellectual growth and communication but as I said we are still in Mercury retrograde, the ruling planet of Gemini, and we have to be mindful of how we are communicating until the end of the month. But this is helping us move into a new way of learning and growing as we welcome Spring. We want to communicate clearly but also we may have to take emotion out of the mix for a while and not be too emotive so as to create explosive conversations!! Let reason be the first port of call.! Let the emotions be felt but also let reason be used when communicating. As we see in the outer world there is a lot of talk about right and wrong but most of it is based on someone being good and someone being bad. It is a positive and negative transaction whereas the art of communication is much more subtler than that and should be almost an artistic creative process.

Jupiter in Gemini will act as a bridge for us to see where we are going and how we will make it happen this year. It will stay in Gemini until June 1st and then go forward again in Cancer and it will act as a benevolent guide for us to move forward even further with our hopes, dreams and wishes. It really is one step at a time and the planets and configurations of them are showing us the way. Today the Sun conjunct Mercury will highlight that need to speak or to say things in a way that will be received in the way you want them. But with Mercury retrograde still in place you may be going over old conversations but trying to do so in a new way. The Moon also squares Mercury so it is important not to be drawn into illusions or jump to conclusions especially with so many personal planets in the sign of Pisces (ruled by Neptune). The fire of Aries and the Saturn/Neptune conjunction is our drive to make us come out into a new world in a new way but we are still coming to terms with what we shed last year. It is like seeing things clearly in hindsight and making sure we have learned the lessons.

Lilith square Mars may make us fiery in our endeavours! It may have us looking at how we have not been seen or not been honoured but it is something we must amend within our own hearts. To acknowledge our own existence first and then to honour the journey we are about to begin. Neptune is also sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, and this brings us a lot of deep emotional thinking when we are reviewing the changes we have gone through. We are selecting a new way of showing up in our world and this is taking time. We have to endeavour to take each step and then almost review how we got there! Judgment of any kind at the moment will not help us make our path clear. In fact it will make it very foggy and cloudy so as to have us going back into old patterns of thinking we are being short changed. This is not a time for lacking self belief at all but it is a time for taking stock of our own personal needs and others and maybe just being kind when we are called to!!! The Moon in Sagittarius today (ruled by Jupiter) is adding to this feeling of expansion and also to holding our dreams close to our hearts. Do not forget your dreams! But also be willing to expand or alter them as you grow now as this is what this year of the horse is all about. Adjusting to the terrain and taking a new path if the one we had thought rock solid shows signs of disintegrating. Its not something for the faint hearted but Jupiter is courage. It is the heart showing up and being seen! So no matter what you do just now remember to be in it completely. To not be wishy washy and to ensure you do not fully commit to the task in hand rather commit fully to the moment you are in and surrender completely to the outcome. You may ask what will that do for me ! It brings Joy back in fully and functionally in your life!!! Joy is not something to wait for, it is present in the moment when we create something beautiful by just being present! It is a Gift!

The outer world will show us so much of how we thought it had to be right and wrong and good and bad. But for us personally we have to show up in a new way. We cannot blame anyone as we enter the same arena as those fighting it out. If you deem yourself a lightworker you just do that. Bring light to your thoughts and feelings and you are enlightened. Bring light to a situation with your calm presence and you have altered the situation just by being there!!!
