The first full Moon of the year and it is in the sign of Cancer. Known as the Wolf Moon it has been a build up to this Super Moon.

There is a strong earthiness to this Moon with Capricorn holding space for us. It is stirring something deep within for us to acknowledge in our way forward and Mars also in Capricorn pushes us to action.

There is a grounded feeling to this Moon and it awakens something in the shadows of the Moon in Cancer. The emotional body is being addressed and we are looking into our reasoning behind our actions and reactions but also the hidden wound we have from childhood. We are being asked to take responsibility for our inner child and to become a parent to ourselves. To see how we can take charge of our childhood hopes and dreams as we enter this year. We can also take back our inner visions that we might have been talked out of and our innate gifts that are grounded in telepathy.

We will find in the coming days we find a softening of our senses as we remember childlike ways that are our sensitive gifts of knowing and understanding. The true reason you are here becomes apparent this year and this first full Moon is allowing us release the denial of our innate being that is timeless and eternal and has been here many times before. The past will be shown in your dreams! Your future is yet unwritten but your present will become the alchemy of living in this year that is a numeric 1 year. In other words you begin to remember by being present in the moment you are in and not distracted you can alter your environment to allow for your own expansion of consciousness and to enlightenment of your world.

The Capricorn stellium (multiple planets in the one house of a sign) enhance hard work towards new foundations of building hopes and dreams for future. Responsibility and tradition are part of this aspect with Capricorn but also the Cancerian Moon looks to the nurturing of the inner child and the Mothering of our instinctive self but in a grounded way. To be able to trust the very definite feminine instincts we all have but now in a grounded way and to put the foundations of this new way of being into place. We are seeing the new world.

The feminine essence of this Moon allows us trust our emotional responses and to allow ourselves believe in the prompting of our instinct. We are instinctively attuned to a higher way of being but a deeper way of knowing.

Building a deeper meaning to our lives and to start a process of uncovering the secret world of our heart while being very grounded in how we do this.
Emotions may be high and memories may be stirred but only insofar as they will make us address patterns once more and leave aside what worked before to now begin to trust a very definite rise in our awareness. Trust it and believe it but also know it is not for predicting a future it is for alchemising situations and challenges that arise within you. And also for journeying into the new world!

A landscape is opening up within us but we must take the hand of our inner child who is the gifted one and nurture them with love and kindness but ultimately acceptance of who they are. To be the parent we may have needed to guide us as we grew into adulthood. We must become as children to enter the new world. Not childish but innocent in the ways of a world that is harsh to that innocence and to the purity of vision that is needed now. Softness is the key for this Moon but strength of fibre that Capricorn has too. A small being heralds a new way and holds the key to our future happiness. Hold their hand tightly as they walk to meet the Mother rising in you.
