A warm July starts us off feeling the summer has finally arrived and hoping for less intensity in energy and emotions perhaps. The months between now and end of the year sees us navigating something in the heavens of a watery emotional nature that is fired up with aggression of wanting to make a move and to trust that we jump in fully (Neptune retrograde in Aries). The sequence can be the biggest clean up act of your life or a walk into a wilderness of illusion and it’s really our choice! The key I feel is the influence of our inner work and how we let go of our own patterns both ancestral and karmic. We might say oh but karma is cleared – and for a certain part it is – but we might find ourselves dipping into old ways when challenged and trying to take an easy way as we see it! But it will be worth it if we can navigate our growing understanding if we trust our hearts and let go of the memories stirring during this time and without blame or shame.

Anchoring in a sense of security while floating through a body of new water is vital. Just trusting the process and letting go of if onlys or this person did this or they caused that – it’s piffle! The reason we suffer is because we continue to tell ourselves stories of how it should have been when all along we are here to act or react and the purpose of the stars and planets is to navigate us not predict anything!

Astrology is the idea of going backwards on a journey and always aiming for something in the future ! We have one thing that is our job or mission in life only one and that is to act or react differently to the last time it all went around as otherwise we just go back into the retrograde planets each time as raw as we were the first time! It’s why subconsciously people fear Mercury retrograde when in fact it is a gift of a hidden message allowing us have a retrospective of where we didn’t let go last time!

ARIES
Saturn going retrograde in your sign this month Aries means you are really getting to the bottom of something and firing through to the old foundations and taking them apart bit by bit and leaving no stone unturned. Yet Neptune also retrograding in your sign May see you probe to illusions so the path this month is to navigate through and see what your heart tells you and not what the voices of the past led you to believe. Alchemy is possible and actually quite probable this month for you!!

TAURUS
Venus leaves your sign to enter Gemini on the 4th Taurus. It is at home in its own sign and now moving into a place that will also have the planet Uranus join it there. Air sign Gemini is all about communicating and messages and the mind. Maybe you will be full of new ways of doing things and have so many ideas of what you want to change and how! You have the gift of the gab this month but as I said earlier hold off big commitments as we enter Mercury retrograde and Neptune retrograde also as there may be a lot of talk in the coming months with others and a lot of hot air…trust your inner strength it is mighty!

GEMINI
Well Gemini here it is. Uranus enters your sign later this week (for first time in 77 years and at time of World War 1!). Now with Mercury also going retrograde this month and in its shadow phase at the moment it is not a time to make big announcements or any rash decisions. For a sign like Gemini you don’t want to hear the words play it safe until end of year especially but also into the new Year of 2026. Bide your time. Study. Re-do something you never thought you would doing this retrograde and maybe that is you doing something you secretly love and can practise to launch to the world in six months time perhaps!

CANCER
A soft hue descends on the Earth of a blue light that radiates from a beautiful summer Moon under the setting sun in Cancer. These are your days you love this time of year and you long for last Summer days in a place that has no drama and no need of your input – just relaxing and letting go so you can dream the next part of your story! The planets that retrograde over the next weeks will see people around you prone to sudden innovative ideas and yet you can see through the smokescreen of illusion that Neptune might bring as it retrogrades n Aries yet it also has a touch of magic and that is what interests you – lay back on the sun lounger and dream…

LEO
Mercury goes retrograde in your sign to this week Leo and for you it means what I’s do you need to dot or ‘t’s do you need to cross? But hang on Leo maybe you did that already and just over thinking or worrying too much! Maybe it’s a time to relax and just enjoy life! For the summer vibe is yours and soon we enter the Lions Gate of Summer at end of July and it’s then you really shine Leo. Lay low and others take the flak – yes you did it and organised everything perfectly if someone says the opposite let them check let them worry and let them do it! No one gives instructions quite like a Leo – go on practise your roar – quietly for now!

VIRGO
Mercury your ruler goes retrograde on 18th of this month Virgo so get all of your ducks in a row before then if you can. Then get off somewhere sunny and rest on a lounger with a good book and a tall drink. So much changing in your life the last few months has meant you find you are not the same old Virgo at all. You don’t want to blend in with the wallpaper and have your secrets (well some of them). You want to let people know who you are and where you are heading. Neptune retrograde sees you wallowing in romantic dreams and fired up by your own hopes and wishes! Keep them grounded by aim high! But for now keep them in a small notebook called shopping list …just for you! Don’t share them just work on them by being you!

LIBRA
Venus moves into Gemini and you want to shout out loud yes I love you! Or you want to allow yourself to reveal your hidden heart and desires. Communication and especially with the Goddess Venus herself is important now as she has weathered the storms of retrogrades this last while and come out stronger and more effervescent than ever – it’s time to shine but also watch out for the illusions as I say before with Neptune retrograde but allow the feeling heart tell you the truth.

SCORPIO
No one loves a retrograde more than Scorpio- lol lies…. One of your rulers Saturn – goes retrograde this month in Aries joining your other ruler Pluto who is retrograde in Aquarius. It feels like walking through treacle doesn’t it. Having to pull teeth again after all that crown work ! But no Scorpio this is biting the bullet time for you for the next six months or so. Conjuring up new ways and secrets revealing themselves to you like no one’s business! But before you start naming names and revealing what you know Scorpio let your own secrets be let go of and stop carrying the weight of your world and everyone else’s perhaps. SAGITTARIUS
Jupiter your ruler is in Cancer still and loving it. You love to wax lyrical and bash our a song or two at this time as why not! But also you find mothering and Mother is strongly on your mind and in your heart and it is for this reason Sagittarius your foundations especially with Saturn are being stirred and you are being asked to build a new way to getting where you want to go and who and what you want to nurture. Saturn goes retrograde soon and Neptune but for you Capricorn Saturn is going down further into the psyche of old ways and patterns to allow you be the builder you really are!
