A card as we start for the month of March.

The Hierophant represents spiritual wisdom, religion, our beliefs. Also the energy of this card is calling to our moral compass and accessing the gateway to our inner knowing. It covers the sign of Taurus also and as we go into March the planet that rules Taurus (Venus) prepares to retrograde firstly in Aries and then Pisces for the next forty days.

This may mean radical thinking when it comes to our own inner beliefs now. We may see in the outer world things we know are not true and that they do not hold with our true core feelings of fairness and respect. In our inner world we be seek to find a balance with how we conduct our own relationships and the first being with ourself! How honest are with what we need and how we seek it and do we sabotage ourselves for the sake of peace!! March will be a fine line between the veils of consciousness and we may dip into realms we have not visited before. Therefore it is important not to believe every version of events until we have sat with our own knowing and listened in a balance way before reacting or jumping on a bandwagon. This may play out in the world and we are being asked here with this card to consult our own divine authority and trust the judgment of a balanced and honest heart with no agendas!

When you look at this card you see the religious or spiritual leader who holds the keys of this gateway beneath the throne he sits on. He holds the tuning fork of creation in his left hand and his other hand raised to point to the divine. Two pillars are on either side of him representing a divine gateway of the male and female ie the inner and outer world. At his feet two male figures with bald heads sit looking up waiting for guidance. Their heads are shown as bald representing they are open to divine guidance and the download of this information that comes through. The kneel before the Hierophant as they have surrendered to the guidance of the divine coming through.

The number of this card is five representing change. This month will move swiftly and will show us exactly what needs changing in our own worlds! Hold on to your hat as what you have been trying to change and hoping to move may actually start shifting especially as we move toward the end of this month! The sign of Venus moving into Aries retrograde is the feminine and masculine in the fire of transformation and as Venus moves backwards into Pisces at the end of the month the cleansing waters washes away anything we have had to let go of as we move through the coming weeks. Let it!!

There are three crosses on the robes of this spiritual leader. He represents the Trinity of Father Mother child within you having to be acknowledged. Having to balance our inner world and our outer one with the innocence of a child but the knowing of the Hierophant. This is our task. To be in connection with our Divine world but present in an Earthly one and carrying our heart safely through the challenges of growing.

This card shows we want to have a deeper spiritual connection and are ready for it. It shows we have surrendered to the path we have come here to walk but also we are aware it must be balalanced it must be honest and it must be our own.
