A full Moon in Cancer happens tonight and it is a nurturing one thanks to the Moon being content in its own sign.
Mars (action/assertion/maleness) in the mothering sign of Cancer going retrograde is delving deeper into the heart of the feminine energy that is trying to rise within us. It is the strength of the Goddess and her ancient wisdom coming to light. Of course too much action can lead to aggression and overbearing behaviour and we see that in the world but for the Feminine to become fully present on Earth this year we begin to see a balancing of what feminine has actually been defined as. It is not being coy or submissive yet it is not being overpowering and essentially aggressive in what we think to be a male energy. Mother is an unknown quantity to many of us. She is revered in ancient history yet disappears in how we remember her story to be replaced with a condensed version that portrays her either as the victim of a patriarchy or needing to be saved. Neither applies. As she becomes more aware to us this year old ways of control will be seen to be what they are ..control. Freedom is Mothers essence. The sea is her story. She holds the memory of all. In every drop there is a miracle of how she saved you once before. How she drew you to her and you found yourself. Under this Moon we are realising our history and our own personal story so far. How ashamed do you want to be? How much guilt can you still hold! Is fear feeling like the burden it really is now? If so you are closer than ever to unveiling the heart of Mother in you. She will nurture your divinity whether man or woman. She rises from the depths of the ocean and from the Great Wheel. It turns and this year as it does so we will feel the unburdening of carrying an old world into a new one. Every act of forgiveness you have for yourself and others lays the dormant age at her feet where the ocean washes away the story of how you got to this point. Do not be fooled by guilt or shame they are manmade and turn the great Wheel. They serve as doorkeepers to a path yet to appear and under this full Moon you take a step forward out into the nothingness Mother created so as to build your world again. Build it with love. Love that has no guilt or fear but has a surety in who you are and what you now accept as being right or wrong. If it feels right in your heart it is and if it doesn’t – do not fight it let it go. Strength of Mother is when your heart knows to let go and still yearns for what you are leaving. She knows the journey of the Goddess and in each age the Goddess has led the way. Jesus learned the teachings of Mother also. He knew the way of the feminine so he could understand the path of the Beloved. Take time to surrender under this Moon to what you leave behind but perhaps with no clear picture of what you begin to create but a sense of something deeper. That maybe now what you create has You fully present as an authentic heart who accepts your identity and loves you all the more for believing you could do it!!!

The waters will come now. There will be a deluge of cleansing waters to heal the flames. Those that have been here from the beginning know the way of cleansing and Gaia will leave behind a new world. Enter the new One who walks as if on water and embodies the way of the Christ.
