The new moon in Leo and the royal line is awakened and our personal sovereignty stirs within us as we approach the 8.8.8 Lionsgate this week.

Leo is strong of heart yet childlike and sometimes dramatic! It has a fire within like the Sun and a burning ambition to enjoy life and revels in its self worth. The Lions mane of the lion is not unlike the sun itself!

The aspects of this Moon are primarily positive but also there is a square between Jupiter and Saturn that will be ongoing that is making us address how we are undoing some of our patterns and what we need to clear out in the process. What foundations have we to remove so as to build something that will stand the test of time? What is our legacy In this lifetime! Childlike feelings may come and go as we rest the memories of the past where they belong – in a book of life we have completed. A new page is turning but it will not happen overnight it is one we are being asked to create (fifth house of creativity on Chart) under this Moon.

Saturn in Pisces (retrograde) also asks us to address boundaries and where we need them but where we are building our new dreams. Leo asks that we remember the childlike heart full of wonder before it was diminished by challenges. Pisces is swimming in the deep water of Neptune but threading through old emotions and perhaps unclear water to keep us moving into the alchemy beyond it. A time of not knowing the way but feeling it ensues and the senses we need to rely on are our hearts (intuition).

Mercury also prepares to go retrograde tomorrow and in the sign of Virgo it communicates with the wound we are diving into once again. It will stay there till the middle of August to shift into Leo so the healing may precipitate the way into communication of a creative nature for how we shape our futures. Relationships both old and new will be looked at but in a way that they are seen as the Mystery School of learning. All this is positive if we do it within our own temple (soul) but if we fire up conversations of old or wounds that hurt your innocent heart (Leo) we need to remember they may not be well met by those we reveal them to so caution is the word. The outside world will show us what is happening within. A healer in you (Virgo) wants to heal the world but the wise one (Jupiter) wants to expand what you see through the Misty lense of the past and communicate with the ancients (Gemini). And therein is a word of caution also as Mars places it’s fire right there at the centre of all this and yet it is the Magician! What can you now transform that seemed insurmountable back in the beginning of this year even!! It waits to be transformed as you enter the alchemical fire of the divine (Leo). Place your innocent heart at the centre of the fire if you can. Tame it. How you might ask? Take it as yours and yours alone and the alchemy of gold is born within you again. Responsibility is key and the gateway we approach after the sovereign Moon is golden.
