THE CALLING

A long corridor appears ahead of us as we enter the month of May. The year is unfolding and expanding in a way we can feel deeply within us. Something is shifting and it is tangible. How you feel is not how you felt before.

How you sit with what you thought you knew will be up for debate within your own heart. There is a little tugging at your heart strings perhaps? Something you had thought impossible now becomes quite probable… The thought that there is a lot more happening in the World than we see reported and indeed what we see or read is someones edit of the facts, however questionable perhaps. Suffering is seen on a wider scale and is so tangible. We can turn away – but can we. Can we really turn away even if we feel powerless from another place across the World? No.

We are being called. Those feelings surfacing are the awakening of our own hearts. The journey to self was merely a part of the spiral of life. There is another step we had maybe omitted to put into the text books on spirituality. The next step being beyond Self. What next you might think. What comes after Self? Surely we must accept ourselves wholly and completely and also come to terms with who we are in every way. This is true. But what then? What do we do when we take a step back into the heart of who we are and who do we find there?

This month is the first tentative steps we are going to experience that is the dusty path to Home. It will have its challenges too. All journeys do. But a spirtual path of awakening is only a semester of our Mystery School. What then? Have we graduated? If we are self satisifed that we have done a good job and are where we need to be we might be looking at another term of college and more studying in that regard. But if you find that what brought you comfort in the material world and even in nature has suddenly found you in a place of saying ok what next…then perhaps this is the calling that has begun within you dear One.

Going beyond this world we look to the heavens to give us signs and in a small way to guide us – whether we actually acknowledge this or not. But having taken responsibility for who we are and having had a journey away from Home we all one day find we are the prodigal one. We return to the table where we once sat with God and we are accepted for all of the experiences we have had. And in that Father/Mother and the essence of all that is holy is surely found within you and you begin to see how you hold the temple in your heart and soul and how you perhaps just didn’t know it …

The teachings of Jesus are more relevant in these days as they describe perfectly the story of a human being in the World. To fight with every tooth and nail to resist the journey of overcoming the Self and to go beyond it and find the tabernacle where we kneel and pray in complete surrender. Jesus’ journey of being human is the blueprint of our own. His teachings told simply in parable form holds the teachings of the Mystery School.

And Mother Says:

Prayer is the comfort you seek. To pray simply as if talking to a dear friend is the way of lessening your suffering Beloved. To pray wholeheartedly and surrender that worry that holds you bound by its embrace releases you into the care of the immaculate. All prayers are held in the ethers of consciousness and become like a cloud of white shining over the world. Look to the heavens for your sign but look to your heart to find the Beloved, Jesus himself, who sits at he table of the soul waiting for you.
