The Three of Cups

The symbology of the Three of Cups shows three people celebrating and raising the chalice of gold. Two Goddess and a divine male wear red gold and white. The colours of autumn are at their feet as the stand together in harmony.

What does this mean for you? On a mundane level it can mean you are celebrating something special in your life and coming together with friends and family perhaps. Something you have wanted for so long is about to be achieved and you want to bring others together to share that joy with them and perhaps make them part of it.

In business and career it is important to share equally with others and see their point of view so that a time of seeing the harvest of what you have worked for. We do not do this alone. Someone helps us and guides us even in the smallest way by their actions and support daily. So the acknowledgment of how others have helped us is so important now. Three is also indicative of spirit and trusting you are being guided by a higher force and for that we must be eternally thankful. Are you listening to that guidance just now? They want to help you see the harmony you already have in this moment and what you have achieved despite what might seem the opposite. A third element is needed to our point of view. Trust things that happen in threes as it’s saying ‘are you listening’ signals are given in a higher way when shown more than twice so be alert to something be answered for you now.

In relationships you may want to bring things to a deeper feeling and an emotional understanding of what that relationship means to you. Cups in Tarot represent emotions and water. In astrology the Three of Cups relate to the sign of Cancer and the Moon. The element of water and Mother energy. We are still in the midst of the solar eclipse in Libra and this might mean emotions are high or even the need to release old emotions that no longer serve you. Be done with it. It holds you a prisoner to your own path so gently with kindness allow the emotions to come and pass softly without apportioning blame or shame on yourself or anyone.

The three golden chalices are held high in this card. They are seen clearly In this image. What does this mean for us. It is the coming together of communities in a common bond of the Christ consciousness. The leaving behind of what was fruitful as we see the floor strewn with the harvest of what has gone. We do not mourn that time but we acknowledge it’s role as a teacher for us. We find our way to those who will be waiting for us and celebrate the fact that there is a coming together of people who want a new way a way which is right in its kindness and fairness but ultimately in the gentleness of Mother and her sacred tenderness for all.

Tarot is also a symbol of the moment we are in. It is not predictive or should not be. It can be used for those elements but it is reading the images as they relate to the now and what can come from that image presented consciously and with balance. It is a cycle within which we work through our understanding and relatable to the stars and planets in what these images represent. It is for us to view as if a page of an ancient story and sit with to meditate upon.

The three of cups message can only mean one thing for us searching for answers and that is let go and let God.
