NEW MOON IN VIRGO – THE FEMININE HEART OF VULNERABILITY 27.8.2022

A new moon in the sign of Virgo Ruled by Mercury. 4 degrees

The Sun and Moon are at 4 degrees

Mars in Gemini at 4 degrees!

Let us see this as the gateway it is!

A knowing moon but a very heady one! With the aspects of Mars in Gemini (Gemini ruled by Mercury) we also have the new Moon herself in Virgo also ruled by Mercury. This is a heady combination, literally! There is a divine order with this Moon as she wants us to listen to what is being communicated to us both by those around us and by the messages we receive through our intuition!

Planet Mars of course has the drive and passion to push us forwad but being in Gemini it wants to push the conversations perhaps or for us to put ourselves forward in some way with how we communicate. Try not to overthink anything over the coming days no matter what you are told or what you witness! There is a certain feeling of wanting to know the truth (Virgo) but also to make sure it is right and wanting to be right (Virgo!). We may over analyse things and it may be a time of finding our inner vision to communicate with. The coming month have Planet Uranus in retrograde and also with that there may be a certain degree of restlessness and wanting to do something but unsure exactly what it should be! Go with the feeling of watching how you communicate, how you react and how you might pick up on old patterns you yourself have so as to learn the deeper meaning of this beautiful new Moon.

There is also a Leo/Venus conjunction and that is beautiful. Leo wants to shine and Venus loves to be in harmony with anything creative so look at what you are doing and who you are doing it with perhaps! Look at the bigger picture of this aspect also as Leo is the Lion and Venus the harmony of the Goddess and we have Mars and its maleness and Virgo in its purity all lining up to somehow get a conversation going! Take stock of what you need to say, how you need to say it and maybe holding on until it actually makes sense to you!! With this also comes the awakening to our inner knowing as we have been encountering over the last few years. We may begin to see/feel/hear on a deeper level while being challenged in a very earthly way with situations with others or even our own perceptions. Make time to be active (Mars) as it will shed some of the pent up energy of overthinking.

There are a few squares with this new Moon. The combination of the Square to Uranus in Taurus, North Node in Taurus, Square to South Node in Scorpio, South Node in Saturn in Aquarius, South Node in Aquarius squares to North Node in Uranus in Taurus! These combinations form the Grand Cross and that itself is a gateway but it is like we are entering parts of the mind where we have to look at where we have boxed ourselves in and for what reason! Of course this can mirror the consciousness and our own divine plan and how we change something we have been trying to clear in our ancestry and past lives perhaps.

Jupiter in Chiron at seven degrees of Aries (Descendant) Also points to a healing of something quite profound. The fire of Aries (the first sign of the zodiac and warrior) wants us to heal the wound of forgetting. Jupiter expands our knowledge of the divine that it is and as the feminine energy rises even more over this new Moon and the coming months we will begin to see how we were lost.

Some part of us had let go of Mother. We had forgotten the importance of her in our hearts and in the Earth. But as we move ever forward into a golden renaissance age we are seeing how she stirs in us when everything outside seems to be losing its hold on what we called our reality!

If the feminine has been rising, and it has, it will not be with a shout or a roar even. It will be with a subtlety of knowing in each person who has asked to remember. The one thing that rises in us as we get closer to embodying the Christ as Mother also is the feelings it brings up from our divine heritage. The shame or guilt of things we have no knowledge of that helped us forget who Mother was. It is poignant that we may not remember how we forget her but we know we did. Yet like most Mothers she waits. She does not ask that you change only that you become more you and surrender to that wonderful being you are.

The head and the heart are at play in this new Moon. We must listen to one. Yet we must have a certain level of groundedness to achieve what we are trying to. Even if we are not sure what that is yet!

Archangel Gabriel is the Archangel who is in charge of Mercury and he is also the Messenger. This Moon is a wonderful time to be guided by him and to listen to his promptings. There is a feeling of going beyond communication in the ordinary way also. We have to start to take heed of our intuition. Our clairvoyance, clairsentinence and claircognisance. It is the new age (ancient times) of Mother.

We trusted it and knew it to be a form of communication. Yet somewhere along the line we let it go, just like Mother! Now it is returning as we draw strength from a deeper slumber and she has always been there. She never left, we did!
