GOING BEYOND EMOTIONAL FEELINGS TO FIND UNDERSTANDING.

We are about to be under a beautiful Cancerian Moon that shines brightly above us in the chill of the winter skies. We have left behind the Star of the Great Conjunction that leaves us with the opportunity, no matter where we are in our lives, to start again. It is important in these times to allow ourselves the gift of compassion not only for others but for our past and how we view our personal history. As we are still in the Christmas holidays it affords us time to look deeply into our hearts and see where did we leave our hopes and dreams but also to be totally honest with ourselves, while not judging how we may have acted or reacted in the experiences that brought us to this point. The planet Chiron is in what is known as a T square with the sun and the moon. The Cancerian moon is nurturing us to heal wounds that are deeply held by us, and some that may not even be consciously known by us, allowing us the gift of feeling old wounds that are not just healed but can be shown to be part of who we are. The hidden aspect of the planet Pluto is squared Mars and not unlike the psychic detective that Pluto is, will delve deep into your psyche to allow you free yourself of the burden of having to carry the wounds of an old paradigm as you step into the new one. This may mean you need to keep yourself in a little bubble of comfort and contentment if you can. Do what brings you joy! It may be as simple as sitting by the fire and being lost in your own thoughts for a while. But whatever it is make sure you nurture the thoughts that bring you comfort and let the ones that cause you pain be sent to the great counselling room in the heavens of a Pluto/Mars square!

You may feel you need to express yourself creatively or just talk to someone to get those feelings out that come up. If that is not possible write them down and see them in print and you will view them differently. It will be immediately lighter as you see them laid out on paper before you and not held in your mind and felt within your heart.

Venus is square Neptune under this Moon and it is the planet of love squaring up to the planet of dreams and psychic vision. Allow yourself the gift of daydreams over the days ahead before we enter the New Year. Let the day dreams that warm your heart under this cold moon be the ones that keep you in the heart of the Mother essence of love.

The Moon forms a triangle with planet Uranus. The Cancer Moon that is filled with emotion and the planet Uranus represented freedom. Can you allow yourself the freedom to express emotions that are coming up? Will something come up that has been hidden from you or by you even? It may be as simple as acting a certain way to please others or seeing yourself lesser than you really are so that you can change those things that do not serve you in the coming age.

Whatever your thoughts under this Moon they will be nostalgic as we enter the final few days of this year. Some may be anger or trepidation in moving forward into the unknown. Leaving behind part of yourself that you may have seen clearly in this year as not honouring may be hard. The past year has been the witnessing of the Shadow. We have been given time to view our intentions, our actions and reactions very personally and out in the world wide stage. This will continue for a while and although it will ease up considerably now that Saturn has entered Aquarius, it will still be a while before Pluto leaves Capricorn. Pluto has the capacity to dig so deep within our soul story, it can only mean we are lighter and enlightened by the end of its transition.

But the beauty of this Moon is that it is like a soft whisper upon a child’s sleeping head. It will caress you with Her love and kindness if you allow yourself the chance to put down thoughts of how or why and stay in the safe haven of your dreams for a while. Mother’s Moon is one of birthing our deepest divinely held nature so as to marry it with our human traits that we have sometimes learned along our path. She is not one for judging us as She sees how severely we judge ourselves. But she does allow us the eternal gift of understanding if we can only stop searching too far ahead for where we are going.

Before we take a step into the New Year maybe we can be still and peaceful within ourselves for a while and hear her prompting us with her gentle strength.

‘Look into your heart Dear One and you look into my eyes that are filled with memories of you. Contemplate the true nature of stillness and hear my voice that rises in your own understanding and wisdom.

Do not stop looking for signs but do not seek them out as you will miss them when they occur. A miracle cannot be planned or created, it can only be witnessed in hindsight.

Take heart under the Moon that the waters have allowed you birth your inner Starchild to take its first steps into the New World.

Wherever you are on your journey you will witness the birthing of the Heart through love, forgiveness and acceptance of the moment you are in and it will make peace with your past forevermore. This is the Being you have waited for!
